Summary
wOBD main menu groups the screens into 3 categories:
- Diagnostics - The check engine screen checks for any trouble codes, the status of the
MIL (Service Engine Soon) lamp, and displays the status of continuous and non-continuous tests
gained from mode1 pid1.
- Data Acquisition - The polling designer screen allows user to define which codes are
polled, the frequency and order the codes are polled in, and the units the data gained is
displayed in. The poll OBD2 data button will use the definition to gather data. Pressing
either button before a polling session has been defined will bring up the polling designer screen.
- Advanced Users - The explorer and scanner screens are designed for advanced users to easily
execute raw commands and to quickly search for extended codes present in the vehicle.
